On March 5th 2010 Seaway, the producer of Shipman sailboats, received the quality certificate ISO 9001:2008. It was obtained on the basis of a successful certification audit conducted on February 25th 2010. The certificate confirms that the company has established and documented quality management system, which is constantly being improved. Certificate is valid for the Design & Tooling department. Seaway is aiming to obtain the same certification for the boatbuilding activity in Zgoša (Slovenia) and Monfalcone (Italy) yards by November 2010. The assessment was performed by the Slovenian branch of Bureau Veritas, one of the world's leading certification companies.
